As an Android Engineer at Wolt, I have had the opportunity to work across multiple teams, gaining experience in different areas of mobile development:
- Platform Team: Focused on Gradle and build system improvements, contributing to a more efficient development process. Another big topic was Jetpack Compose migrations to help modernize the app’s UI framework.
- Feature Team: Contributed to critical consumer-facing screens, developing new features and improving existing ones. I collaborated across teams and addressed urgent business needs to ensure a smooth user experience.
- SDK Team (Current Role): Working on an SDK that leverages WebSockets, ensuring reliable real-time communication. Also contributing to React Native and Flutter projects, helping integrate native Android components into cross-platform applications.
Responsible for further development of the Klima app aligned with the company goals. Contributing across all layers: user interface, domain, networking, and storage. Taking part in building a new KMP project from scratch.
